| HOW JESUS TAUGHT ME TO LOVE |
| Eternal life |
| Although I have heard a lot about Eternal life, still
I am not spiritually mature enough to understand the meaning of the
words “Eternal life.” At this stage of my life I asked
my Lord what the real meaning of Eternal life is. |
| Then Jesus shows me in John 17:2 “For you gave
him authority over all mankind, so that he might give eternal life
to all those you gave him.” Through this word I understood,
that God has given Jesus authority over all mankind. And he continued,
even though God has given Jesus authority over all mankind, Jesus
can give eternal life only to the people God has given to Jesus. |
| I asked Jesus why this is so. Because you have already
said that God has given you authority over all mankind, then why can
you give Eternal life only to the people God has given to you? |
| Then Jesus took me to John 8:43 “Why do you not
understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to listen to
my message. You are the children of your father, the Devil, and you
want to follow your father’s desires. From the very beginning
he was a murderer and has never been on the side of truth, because
there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he is only doing what
is natural to him, because he is a liar and the father of all lies.” |
| Through these words Jesus explained to me that if I
believed what the Devil said to Eve and Adam about God, his love,
God’s gift, and his blessings then God can never select me or
God can never give me to Jesus. Because in this situation, even though
I prayed and fasted for hours and days my belief would be not in God,
but in the Devil. |
| In John 6:45 Jesus said the prophets wrote, “Every
one will be taught by God; anyone who hears the Father and learns
from him comes to me.” |
| But if I am able to understand what really happened
in the beginning in the Garden of Eden and if I am able to realize
God’s best gift is not money and other material things but the
Holy Spirit and if I am able to realize God’s love is coming
into me through the Holy Spirit, and if I am able to realize God’s
blessings are not worldly things but Jesus Christ. Then only will
God select me and give me to Jesus. |
| And Jesus said in John 6:37 “Everyone whom my
Father gives me will come to me.” That means I will go to Jesus
only when I understand what really happened in the beginning, otherwise
I will go to work for money and worldly things. |
| And Jesus continued “I will never turn away anyone
who comes to me, because I have come down from heaven to do not my
own will but the will of him who sent me. And it is the will of him
who sent me that I should not lose any of all those he has given to
me, but that I should raise them all to life on the last day.” |
| Here Jesus explained that God’s will is to give
life to all those who believe in God’s love in the beginning
and God’s knowledge. |
| In John 17:3 it is written “And eternal life
means knowing you, the only true God and knowing Jesus Christ, whom
you sent.” That means “Eternal life” is to know
the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom God sent to this earth. |
| Since God is Spirit and God created me in his likeness
and resemblance, I know the true God and Jesus only in my spirit.
That is why Jesus said in John 16:13: “when, however, the spirit
comes, who reveals the truth about God, he will lead you into all
the truth.” |
| In John 15:26 Jesus said “The Helper will come
– the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God and who comes
from the Father. I will send him to you from the Father, and he will
speak about me.” In John 14:26. “The Helper, the Holy
Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything
and make you remember all that I have told you.” |
| Through these words Jesus explained that, my spirit
can know God and Jesus only through the Holy Spirit. |
| In Mathew 7:12 Jesus said, “Do for others what
you want them to do for you: this is the meaning of the Law of Moses
and of the teachings of the prophets.” |
| Through this word Jesus taught me that, if I wanted
to know the true God and Jesus Christ in my Spirit then I have to
pray for the whole human race starting from Adam and Eve to reveal
God and Jesus to their spirit. |
| From that moment onwards, I started to thank the Heavenly
Father in the name of Jesus for revealing the true God and Jesus in
the Spirit of the whole human race starting from Adam and Eve. |
| Jesus taught me that Eternal life means to know the
true God and Jesus in my Spirit through the Holy Spirit. Jesus made
it clear that, it happens only when I reject the false knowledge given
by the Devil through Adam and Eve and start to receive the true knowledge
given by Jesus Christ, in my mind and head. |
| Whoever does not believe will be Condemned |
| Jesus before he was taken up to heaven, he said to
his disciples in Mark 16:15 “Go throughout the whole world and
preach the gospel to all mankind.” |
| In the dictionary the meaning for the word Gospel is
“the teaching of the Christ.” Here Jesus is telling his
disciples to go throughout the whole world and preach the teachings
of Christ about |
• God
• God’s best Gift
• What really happened in the beginning
• God’s love in the beginning
• The life giving tree, Jesus Christ
• And other things Jesus taught, to all mankind. |
| And Jesus continued in Mark 16:16, “Whoever believes
and is baptized will be saved, whoever does not believe will be condemned.” |
| Jesus explained to me that if I am not able to believe
what Jesus taught about God and his other teachings, then I will be
condemned. |
| That means if I believe |
• God is love but God punishes
• God punished Adam and Eve
• God’s gift is money, power and people’s acceptance
• God’s blessing is worldly things, |
| then I believe in the Devil. Jesus showed me that if
I am living with the Devil’s teachings then God can’t
save me. That is why Jesus said whoever does not believe his teachings
about God and other things will be condemned. |
| Here Jesus made it clear that God is not a punishing
God. God has given me the freedom to choose life or death. And if
I choose death then it’s not God’s problem, it’s
my fault. |
| In the beginning of Mark 16:16 Jesus said “whoever
believes and is baptized will be saved.” |
| Through this word Jesus explained to me that if I receive
his teachings into my head and my mind, then I will surely receive
Jesus’s teaching into my Spirit through the Holy Spirit. That
means, if I receive Jesus’s teachings in my head, in my mind
and in my Spirit, then I will be saved. |
| Since my identity is in my Spirit, I have to receive
Jesus’s teachings into my spirit. That is why Jesus said in
Act 1:4 “And when they came together, he gave them this order:
Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift I told you about, the
gift my Father promised. John baptized with water, but in a few days
you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” |
| Here Jesus is giving only one order to the human race
before he was taken up to heaven that is to be baptized with the Holy
Spirit. If I am not able to receive the Holy Spirit in my spirit then
I can’t live for Jesus Christ. Without the Holy Spirit, my spirit
only loves the world. |
| That is what Paul said in Romans 8, “There is
no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus.
For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Christ
Jesus, has set me free from the law of Sin and death.” |
| Through Paul’s words Jesus explained to me that
it is God’s Spirit that gives me life; I can live in union with
Christ Jesus only with the help of the Holy Spirit. |
| Paul said in Romans 8:7 “And so a person becomes
an enemy of God when he is controlled by his human nature, for he
does not obey God’s law and in fact he cannot obey it. Those
who obey their human nature cannot please God.” |
| According to this word, Jesus taught me that with my
human nature, I can never obey God’s law with the help of any
prayer and fasting. |
| In Romans 8:7 Paul continued “Those who live
as the Spirit tells them to, have their minds controlled by what the
Spirit wants. That means if my Spirit is controlled by God’s
Spirit then my mind will be under the control of God’s Spirit. |
| And in Romans 8:6 it is written “To be controlled
by human nature results in death, (that means if I am controlled by
human nature then my position is I am condemned) to be controlled
by the Spirit results in life and peace.” |
| If my head, my mind and my spirit are controlled by
the Holy Spirit then my position is “I am saved.” |
