| Scared to open the Book of Genesis |
| When I was able to ask forgiveness of the person I
hated, I asked the Lord help me to learn, how to actually forgive. |
| Jesus showed me John 6:44. “No one can come to
me unless the Father who sent me draws him to me.” I was confused
to hear this from Jesus. Then I asked Jesus to explain this. |
| At this stage Jesus gave me John 8:43. “Why do
you not understand what I say?” The answer to this question
is also given by Jesus. It was new knowledge for me. “It is
because you cannot bear to listen to my message.” The reason
Jesus pointed out why I could not bear to hear the message of Jesus
is because “You are the children of your father, the Devil and
you want to follow your father’s desires.” |
| The reason Jesus told me I was the Child of the Devil
and why I wanted to follow the Devil’s desire is “From
the very beginning he was a murderer and has never been on the side
of truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he
is only doing what is natural to him, because he is a liar and the
father of all lies. (John 8:44)” |
| Through this word Jesus made it clear that there is
no truth in the Devil. In the beginning itself the Devil committed
a murder. That means in the beginning when Eve and Adam ate the fruit
given by the Snake the murder happened. (Genesis 3:7) |
| Jesus continued (John 8:45) “But I tell the truth,
and that is why you do not believe me.” |
| Through this word Jesus explained that when Eve and
Adam ate the fruit given by the snake in the Garden of Eden, from
then on the Spirit of the Human race was filled with the untruth given
by the Snake (Devil). That means my spirit, mind and body were controlled
by the untruth given by the Devil. Jesus made it clear that when the
Devil is controlling me, I can’t receive the truth of Jesus
Christ. |
| From childhood I was reluctant to read the Chapters
in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, especially Genesis. I would
not listen to the talks given by any person about the Old Testament,
because every one showed a Punishing God in the Old Testament especially
in Genesis which explained the story of Adam and Eve. At the same
time I did not like a picture of a punishing God in my mind. |
| But to know what really happened in the beginning,
in the Garden of Eden, I opened Genesis in the Holy Bible. |
